By day, I am a high school mathematics teacher. I spend my hours showing students that complex problems have elegant solutions and that every variable matters. But when the school bell rings, I trade my whiteboard markers for a jeweler’s loupe.

HP Jewelers was born out of a realization I had while helping my students navigate the "real world." In math, we look for the most efficient path to the truth. In the jewelry industry, I saw the opposite: inflated markups, confusing terminology, and retail prices that felt like a "story" rather than a calculation.

I realized that the same precision and transparency I use to teach Algebra 2 could be used to create fine jewelry. I don't just want to sell you a piece; I want to show you the math behind the value.

Our mission is simple: High-end customization without the retail "tax." In a typical retail store, you aren't just paying for the gold and the diamond—you’re paying for the mall rent, the massive marketing budgets, and the corporate overhead. As a teacher and an independent designer, I’ve eliminated those variables from the equation.
